  • ABC Celebrates 5th Birthday
    07 September 2009

The Airport Business Centre recently celebrated its 5th anniversary marking five years of continual growth. Celebrations included an onsite barbecue with games, live music and fundraising for St Lukes Hospice.

The celebrations raised over £500 for St Luke's Hospice and marked 5 years of business success. Since 2004 the Business Centre has prided itself on developing a relationship beyond just tenant-landlord. This, they believe, is the cornerstone of their success to date.

Des Smith, Managing Director, of the Airport Business Centre commented 'We've always seen ourselves as a partner rather than a landlord. This approach allows us to work with our tenants to support business growth.

The Airport Business Centre delivers on this through innovative and dynamic business support services; including book keeping, human resources, marketing and free business mentoring and tenant workshops. Continual development of their services has resulted in their latest launch; shared office space. This package creates an opportunity for business owners to decrease costs by downsizing. It could also be used as a low-cost, flexible base when moving from an office at home.

The team at the Airport Business Centre is now looking to the future. Des commented, 'Our approach has been well received by the business community to date. As a result our future plans include continual development of the support infrastructure and will place the business centre at the heart of the entrepreneurial community in the South West of England.'

We believe that businesses will benefit from a greater depth and range of services provided from a single source partner. Alongside our serviced office space we offer various business support services, for example, Marketing, Book Keeping, HR, Health & Safety and IT. Our latest plans involve extending our current offering to support our clients in all aspects of business management. With Des on board we are well placed to deliver these plans."
